A little about me . . . well, the short version of this is that I’m a mama relying on Jesus and reheated coffee every day. It’s a quick “about me” and describes the season of life I’m in perfectly.

The longer version of this:

I’m a mom of three, author, and speaker who has a heart for the mom struggling with a mental illness. My book Mama’s Got Anxiety: But It’s Not Going to Steal Her Joy released in September of 2023 through Revell and is available wherever books are sold! I write about all things motherhood and faith. So, if you’re in a season of kids clingy to your every move and you can’t pee in peace, you’ll find encouragement here. If you love motherhood but you don’t love everything about motherhood, I feel you. If you feel like you’re inadequate some days (okay, most days), well, I’m right there with ya. If you’re a working mom, I’ve done that. If you’re a stay-at-home mom, I’m doing that right now.

Either way, you will find encouragement here. I’m honest, relatable, and humorous (or at least I think so). Whatever’s going on—tantrums and teething, or anxiety and depression—I’m your new mama friend.

My husband and I have been married for almost 7 years and we live in Michigan where you’ll find us chasing our kiddos around in our messy, imperfect house. You can usually find me in the Starbucks line at my local Target (ordering an iced coffee because why even bother with hot coffee?).

Stick around and you’re going to be encouraged, my friend!

(P.S. When you subscribe to my newsletter you’ll receive my free, mini devotional for the mama needing the power of the Holy Spirit to help her out.)
